20 Years of Caring - and Counting.
When the Charity started in March 1990, none of us had any idea that it would come to involve so many wonderful people. Yes, there ARE a lot of absolutely fantastic human beings out there and we have had the pleasure of having been in contact with a lot of them.
These wonderful people have: rescued animals, raised funds on street corners, stood outside supermarkets, home checked potential new homes, stuffed envelopes, taken animals to the vets, sent in donations, sold raffle tickets, donated an item of food, completed a standing order form, organised quizes, mucked out, written letters and taken on a rescue - to name but a selection of tasks. Every one is a STAR and has made it possible to achieve so much.
(Our first) Twenty years has shown just what a huge task animal rescue and welfare is, but if its "done right" the reward of seeing the animal(s) cared for are fantastic. So THANK YOU ONE and ALL
Saying "Thank You" now is not an exemption for the personal appreciation the Charity has for your support, but there may be the odd occasion when we miss the personal "Thanks" that you deserve, at such times please forgive us. We appreciate everything done for the Charity - for the community and FOR the animals.

- 6th March. Today brought a wonderful gift from HASSRA Sports and Social Club and gifts from Margery Mathews and Pauline Osborne.
- 4th March. A great birthday gift from Tony and Jean Button.
- 2nd March. Brought some great gifts from Dianne Attril, Jean & David Hodges, Vi & Richard Beet and Jenny Lazarus.
- 27th February. A VERY generous gift received from MARSTONS in Wolverhampton today which we will use for the benefit of the animals and people of that fair city.
- 24th February. A day made nicer by the contents of a little pink box (click here) from Yvonne Tudgey and a gift from Mr & Mrs Blues.
- 21st February. The results are out. A VERY VERY successful collection over two days at TESCO Worcester brought in just over £600-00 for our rescues - despite some attrocious wether on the second day. Thanks to everyone who supported our work.
- 19th February. Maybe a quieter day, but still great thanks to Christine & David Parker.
- 18th February. This was a VERY GOOD day for the animals with gifts from J Jarman, Nancy Couston, J.E.R. Green Mr & Mrs Stanton and Jenny Carter Brown with a kind legacy from the estate of Mary Dixey.
- 17th February. Ally Nordbruch-Goode, and Jenny Bunce made a BIG difference to our ability to help animals today.
- 16th February. Jessie Churches, Jean Kidson, Audrey Chiverton and June Davey have all made this another great day for the animals.
- 13th February. Very kind gifts have been received from Anne Twining and Sylivia Crowther
- 9th February. Thank you Mr Smith, Centre Manager and everyone at HEDGE END for supporting our collection on 6th Feb. Not only did we raise almost £500-00p but had a CAR LOAD of food donated for our many many rescues. (see picture). FANTASTIC. (We almost couldn't fit the humans in to go home!!!!!!!)
