Catherine Tyynman from Manchester made a ten hour round trip to Swindon to pick up two Jack Russells who had been in a pound for 5 weeks and were doomed to be put to sleep. They were in a terrible state. They had canker, frost bite, worms, mites, were full of sores and were still lactating! The poor animals were frightened of everything, but after two months of Catherine’s love and care and a special diet they turned out to be absolutely lovely. Friends of the Animals were delighted to have contributed financially to their treatment.
